I think I got the same issue - I just reinstalled the whole Ubuntu 12.04 LTR 32-bit on the T60. I get basically same thing when I tried to launch the launcher. Do you launch EVE then from the terminal? "Simple run path_to_installation/bin/ExeFil...

Thanks for the reply(s), I have a 8GB with 11.10 USB Start and the Install on it, and then newest WINE, and also the full offlined TQ setup and files on it, no problem with fitting that on an 8GB. My main EVE Lappy is in the shop still so waiting...
